How do you concentrate on writing when someone continually comes to your office door? I must hear this a dozen times while I'm trying to write, "knock knock, can I interrupt you for a minute? ".
Guess my only recourse is to set my alarm for 2am and write when people sleep. Or I could find a cave (with power & Wi-Fi of course) and become a recluse.
I really need to get my chicken scratch notes typed and submitted.

October greetings
Today is October 1st, 12 days to our 25th wedding anniversary, our grandson's 14th birthday and our dogs 3rd birthday. This is also day 1 of the challenge "write 500 words a day". The challenge includes blogging, so thought I could work on this habit too.
It's hard to imagine all the unexpected changes that have taken place for us this year. From March to October we and our children have all started new chapters. All of us have new homes, Mark & I back in Salisbury, Angela leaped from apartment to house, Heather from married in Indiana to single in Maryland and Andrea from single in Indiana to engaged in Delaware.
For the first time in 15yrs we have all our family living on Delmarva again. I am so thankful to God for leading us back home.
Take care and blessings to you all.

Home at last
Well it's been a whirlwind of a spring and summer for the NoraMark Grudis family. Back in March Mark and I were spring cleaning, painting and sprucing up for another summer in Brownstown, Indiana.
In April we got a call that changed everything! We were asked to come to Maryland and help Mark's mom. So by the end of May we had sorted, donated, sold and/or packed everything we owned. Loaded a U-Haul and headed back to Delmarva. Yes in less than 3 months we packed up almost 15 years of life in Indiana and move over 800 miles away to start over.
The changes didn't stop there. It's now halfway through Sept and we have been back on the Eastern Shore almost 4 months. Our baby girl is engaged to a nice young man in Delaware and she's teaching at the same Christian school with him and his father. We've reconnected with our oldest daughter, her 3 children and her boyfriend. This morning We've become complete again. Our middle daughter and her 3 children arrived safely from Indiana to also relocate to Delmarva.
Just shows how in a blink of an eye with one phone call for help your whole life can take a new Path.

I've posted a new story on norasnotes.org
It's a children's story about my childhood imaginary friend. Read and enjoy.

Update for September 2014
On a break from posting more chapters of "The Path Taken " on norasnotes.org. Next few are emotionally draining. Polishing up "Joey", a children's story, before reposting it.

The Path Taken
Well readers Chapters 1,2 & 3 of the Path Taken are posted on norasnotes.org
The real roller coaster ride story of my life begins. Grab a seat, hold on tight and ride with me if you dare. My biggest prayers are that these words I'm sharing will reach out and save someone from following the same Path.
Hugs
